Ralph Wyatt Perry

White Sulphur Springs-Ralph Wyatt Perry, 67, died Thursday, Apr. 10, 2014, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center after a short illness.

Born May 16, 1946, in White Sulphur Springs, he was a son of the late Reginald Wyatt and Lydia Elizabeth Bittinger Perry.

Ralph was of the Christian faith. He was a retired cook at The Greenbrier. Ralph was an avid reader, enjoyed old western, detective and mystery movies, and loved to walk.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Reginald “Bud” Perry, Harold Perry and Maynard Perry; and one sister, Wilma Jean Perry.

Survivors include: three brothers, Julian Perry (Judy) of Newville, PA, Joe Perry (Martha) of White Sulphur Springs and Dale Perry (Mary) of Covington, VA; four sisters, Ida Sue Zimmerman of Lewisburg, Belinda Huffman (Danny) of Union, Emma Lou Carper (Wayne) of Covington, VA and Debbie Harvey (Tom) of Biloxie, MS; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

His memorial service was conducted Saturday, Apr. 12 in the chapel of Shanklin Funeral Home where Rev. Gene Sizemore officiated.

The family received their friends at the funeral home before the service.
