Ronceverte-Phillip Leon Morgan, 73, passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at his home.

Born Aug. 15, 1948, in Low Moor, VA, he was the son of the late Joseph Edward and Edith Marie Bennett Morgan.

Phil attended Graystone Baptist Church, was a U.S. Army Veteran (SGT) and retired as a truck driver for Coca-Cola.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Morgan; son, Joshua Phillip Morgan; and brothers, Joe, and Mick Morgan.

Survivors include two sons, Caleb Morgan (Vanessa) of Wayside, WV, and Isaac Morgan (Christie Haskin) of Blairsville, GA; daughters, Lori Morgan (Michael Riddell) of Alderson, Julianna Drumond (Fabricio) of Vinton, VA, Josie Payne (Dale) of Casa, AR, and Rebekah Brookman (Keith) of Lewisburg; brother, Gary Morgan (Priscilla) of Staunton, VA; and sister, Joyce Morgan of Ronceverte; 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews; and a good family friend, Oscar Morgan of Ronceverte.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 5, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until time of service. Burial will follow the service in the Adwell Cemetery.

We will be following COVID-19 recommendations and request guests to wear a mask. Funeral service will be streamed live via facebook at https://www.facebook.com/morganfhwv/.
