Phillip Cyrus, Sr.
Caldwell-Phillip “Boo” Cyrus, Sr., 63, passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, at his home.
He was born January 18, 1951, in South Charleston, the son the late Phillip Elwood and Nancy Gertrude (Davis) Cyrus.
Mr. Cyrus was a supervisor for Leak Repairs, Inc. in Alvin, TX. He was also an Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by brother, Nathan and sister, Sandy.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean (Hodges) Cyrus; two sons, Phillip Cyrus, Jr. of Bluefield, WV and Ryan E. Cyrus of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Mary K. Lucas and Keith of St. Albans; brother, Steve Cyrus and Penny of Tornado; three grandsons and four granddaughters as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, Sept. 22 at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Friends visited at the funeral home before the time of the service.
