Locally owned and operated New River Gorge Harley-Davidson announced this week that Toby Painter will be the new General Manager effective immediately.
New River Gorge Harley-Davidson is the sister store to Harley-Davidson of WV. Harley-Davidson of WV has been in business in the Charleston-area since 1974. Both dealerships are owned and operated by Dennis Di Filippo.
Painter has been with Harley-Davidson of WV since 2000 as the Sales Manager. During his time as Sales Manager at Harley-Davidson of WV, he won many awards including Harley-Davidson Financial Services Excellence in Finance and Insurance, two Harley-Davidson Motor Company Bronze Circles of Recognition for Sales, a Bronze Harley-Davidson Motor Company Bar & Shield Circle of Achievement, and two Harley-Davidson Motor Company Silver Bar & Shield Circles of Achievement. The awards are given based on many factors including customer satisfaction, education, performance and more. Painter also attends Harley-Davidson University classes both online and instructor-led and currently holds the status of Professional-Level Sales. Painter was born and raised in Beards Fork in Fayette County and still considers it home.
