New River announces fall semester President’s List and Dean’s List

New River Community and Technical College has released the President’s List and Dean’s List students for the 2014 Fall Semester.

President’s List

In order to be named to the President’s List, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours, not including developmental classes.

President L. Marshall Washington announced that the following students earned the President’s List designation for the fall semester:

Greenbrier County – Alderson: Haylee Boswell, Christina Goins; Caldwell: Donald Hull, Kala Morgan, Roger Terry; Clintonville: Lynsi Burnett, Gerald Simms; Frankford: Diana Hefner, Tristan Kirk; Lewisburg: Erika Brown, Danielle Dowdy, Danielle Jenkins, Ethan Reynolds, Gary Roberts, Hunter Roberts; Maxwelton: Greg Lester; Renick: Christina Frazier, Wyatt Renick, Haleigh Wise; Ronceverte: Kodie Brooks, Shawn Dolan, Adam Elmore, Chris Rodoussakis, Melissa Tetreault; Rupert: Chelsea Hellems; Smoot: Deny Doss; White Sulphur Springs: Chester Brandon, Tara Burns, Dustin Fisher, Deborah Fraley, Jordan Honaker, Tiffani Jackson, Belinda Sanchez.

Monroe County – Pickaway: Ashli Branch; Second Creek: Lori Boggs; Sinks Grove: Johnathan McMillion, Kelsey Reed; Sweet Springs: Layton Hefner; Union: Denise Deskins, Mary Fenty, Wilda Glover.

Dean’s List

To be named to the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.25 or higher grade point average, carry 12 or more college hours, not including developmental classes, and receive no D’s or F’s in any class for the semester.

Dr. Amy DeSonia, vice president for academic affairs, announced that students earning the Dean’s List distinction for the fall semester are:
