On June 10, 2025, residents of White Sulphur Springs will elect a mayor, recorder, and city council members. In order to provide voters with information about the candidates, RealWV is partnering with White Sulphur’s Rotary Club to host a candidate forum. The forum will be held on May 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the ballroom of the Schoolhouse Hotel.
The mayoral candidates are: Mayor Kathy Glover, George McIntire, & Thomas Taylor.
The recorder candidates are: David Dillion and Peggy Bland (write in).
The city council candidates are: Jennifer Andrews, Audrey Burns Van Buren, MJ Oref, Linda Coleman, Ryan Lockhart, & George “GP” Parker. (Five will be elected.)
The forum will be moderated by officers of White Sulphur Springs Rotary. All candidates will be given four minutes to speak. They will then mingle with local citizens in person after all candidates have spoken. RealWV will livestream the event on Facebook.
