

Abigail Brown, D.O., and Jaelynn Parks, D.O., both graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree on May 2.
While at WVSOM, Dr. Brown was a student representative for the Exercise is Medicine program. She was a member of the student chapter of the American Academy of Osteopathy and the student chapter of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine. Brown earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from West Virginia University in Morgantown in 2018. She is a graduate of Greenbrier East High School in Lewisburg. Brown is the daughter of Jason Brown and Jennifer Brown-Knisely of Lewisburg. She plans to enter a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at University Hospitals Community Consortium in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Parks earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the West Virginia University Institute of Technology in 2021. She is a 2017 graduate of Greenbrier East High School in Lewisburg. Parks is the daughter of Karen Arbuckle and Victor Parks of Lewisburg, and of John Arbuckle of Lewisburg. She plans to enter a psychiatry residency at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV.
