A new business is ramping up in the Meadow River Valley. MRV Beverage is located east of Rainelle in the former RC bottling plant and is bottling and shipping Langers Juice products for distribution to grocery store warehouses in the eastern United States. MRV Beverage is owned 50% by Langers and 50% by David Catlett and John Yates.
Job interviews were recently held for the production line, maintenance, and support staff, including accounting and traffic. Within a year to 18 months, the facility is expected to reach its full capabilities, employing a team of 56 people. All positions pay above minimum wage and include insurance and paid holidays.
