She passed away peacefully at Charleston Memorial Hospital surrounded by those who loved her. Nancy was courageous and beautiful until the very end. Nancy was born June 21, 1955, in Middletown, CT. Shortly after her arrival, her family moved to Cocoa Beach, FL. She always considered Florida, especially her beloved “Leon Lane,” her home.
Nancy graduated from Cocoa Beach High School in 1972 and shortly after moved to Atlanta, GA, where she began a successful career in the restaurant industry. She was manager of “Frankie’s” Restaurant in Cape Canaveral, FL, for many years. Nancy also worked as a real estate agent with Stenstrom Real Estate in Lake Mary, FL. She took early retirement and moved to West Virginia in 1999 to be with her sister.

Nancy always thought of her nieces and nephews as her own children. They include Olivia Clack of New York City, NY, Emily Odin and Laura Czajka-Martyna both of Charlotte, NC, and Jessica Roczniak-Grist of Lewisburg; nephews, Ryan Clack, Cody Czajka, Ethan Czajka, and Zachary Czajka all of Merritt Island, FL, Eddie Odio arid Jacob Roczniak both of Boston, MA; and great-nephew, Thomas Moses Grist.

Nancy was of the Catholic Faith. Her final prayer was to be with her mother and brother in Heaven. Her family asks for prayers so that she may finally experience the peace she could never find on earth.
Nancy’s final wish was to be cremated and her remains taken home to Leon Lane, Cocoa Beach, Florida, the place she always held dear in her heart. A memorial service for friends and family will be held at a later dale.
