Mesha Maren And Matt Owens Wed

Mesha Maren, daughter of Anne Maren-Hogan and Sam Maren from Celo/Burnsville, NC, and Matt Owens, son of Linda Owens of Jacksonville, FL, and the late Chris Owens blessed family and friends with their commitment ceremony Saturday the 27th of June at Sunset Gatherings on the Cane River near Burnsville, NC. Mesha and Matt recently completed their Masters of Fine Arts and plan to teach classes with Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg, as well as continue their passion for writing. Mesha’s first novel, Sugar Run, is forthcoming from Alquonquin Books. They will make their home in Greenbrier County.
