Margaret Ann Kaptis White passed away peacefully Dec. 3, 2025, at home with her husband, Bobby, by her side.
Margaret Ann was born on June 6, 1952, in White Sulphur Springs, the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Dickson Kaptis of White Sulphur Springs.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby R. White, son, Christopher Owen White of White Sulphur Springs and daughter Jennifer Ann White-Bisek (Phillip) of Keysville, VA. Ethan White-Bisek, grandson, was the apple of her eye, granddaughter, McKenzie White-Bisek, both of Keysville, VA, step-grandson, Troy Bisek of Virginia Beach and granddaughters Bella White, of South Carolina, Nyla White of Lewisburg, Gia and Thea White, both of White Sulphur Springs and great-granddaughter, Iris White of Lewisburg. Margaret Ann is also survived by two brothers, Paul (Sandy) Kaptis of Port Charlotte, FL and Jimmy (Lori) Kaptis of Hampstead, NC, and one sister, Joyce Kaptis Clinebell (Roy) of Cameron, NC.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Wayne Kaptis, and her loving and faithful dog, Missy Libby.
Margaret was a 1970 graduate of Greenbrier East High and was employed for many years by Food Lion in White Sulphur Springs. She loved sitting on her front porch with a hot cup of coffee in hand, enjoying the peace and quiet of retired life.
It was her wish to be cremated.
