U.S. Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) recently announced the West Primary Care Association Inc. and the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services will receive more $2 million from the U.S. Department of the Health and Human Services (HHS). This funding will go towards helping them continue delivering excellent healthcare to West Virginians.
“I’m glad this important funding is headed to the West Virginia Primary Care Association and the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services,” Manchin said. “Every West Virginian deserves access to quality healthcare and these health centers play an important role in maintaining healthy families and communities throughout our state.”
“This funding will help the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services and the West Virginia Primary Care Association accomplish their mission of meeting the health care needs of West Virginians. Improving the health and wellness of all our residents will lead to stronger communities across the state,” said Capito.
West Virginia Primary Care Association Inc. received $875,000 and West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services received $1,513,604.
