Ronceverte – Lynn Christine “Tina” Cornwell, 53, passed away in her sleep, Monday, July 16, 2018, at her home.

Born July 18, 1964, at Ronceverte, she was the daughter of Juanita “Nonnie” Boone Sampson and Darrell Cornwell (Patsy) of Ronceverte.

Tina was the Office Manager for Dr. Timothy Workman and was the first girl to play baseball for the Ronceverte Little League.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Mark Cornwell and her stepfather, Warren D. Sampson.

Including her parents, she is survived by the light of her life, daughter, Hayley Cornwell; dearest friend, Michael Cochran; sister, Amanda Cornwell James (Van); niece, Landry James; her grand-dogs, Marley, Romeo and Lucky; and many friends.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Friday, July 20, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, with Pastor Roger “Wahoo” McDaniel officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home on Friday.
