White Sulphur Springs-Latisha Ann Kersey McNeeley, 40, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018. She was born on Jan. 30, 1978, in Clifton Forge, VA.

She played a special role to many, including: a Wife to Doug McNeeley, a Daughter to Linda (Lynch) Kersey and the late Bruce Kersey, a Sister to Jennifer (and TW) Bittinger and Bruce “Boo” (and Amanda) Kersey, an Aunt to Shyanna Bittinger, a Granddaughter to the late Anna and George Lynch and the late Myrtle and Luther Kersey, a Niece to more than 20 aunts and uncles, a Cousin to dozens, a Friend to many, and most important to Latisha, Mommy to Kaedin, 10; Noah, 8 and Zeni, 6. Her “three angels” as Latisha called them will now have a special angel watching over them from above: Kaedin Scott, who she always encouraged his talents in sports, Noah Michael, whose kind heart made him Mommy’s sweetheart, and Zeni Grayce who she loved to play dress up with as they shared the same funny personality.

Latisha will be remembered by those who loved her most for her loving nature, her sense of humor, her beautiful blue eyes, her quiet faith and giving to those in need, and the love she had for her children, family and friends.

Latisha was a graduate of Greenbrier East High School and Marshall University.

While she may have left this world too early, Latisha would be touched to know three lives will be saved through her organ donations.

Latisha was honored at a funeral service at the Alvon United Methodist Church on Tuesday, July 17. The service was officiated by her uncles, Rev. Bobby McClintic and Buck Caldwell and cousin, Robert McClintic. A private burial service followed at the Lynch Family Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be sent payable to the Memorial Fund for Latisha McNeeley’s Children (under the direction of Linda Kersey) and mailed to First Citizens Bank, 686 Main St. E, White Sulphur Springs, WV 24986.

Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs is in charge of arrangements.
