The Lewisburg United Methodist Church will host a Thanksgiving Dinner in their Fellowship Hall on Sunday, Nov. 24 at noon. Anyone from the community is invited to attend. The church wants to especially extend a warm invitation to those who may be alone or unable to be with family over the Thanksgiving holiday this year. Osteopathic Medical School students and their families are also welcome to attend! Turkey, stuffing, rolls, green beans, mashed potatoes, assorted covered dishes, rolls and drinks will be provided. If you would like to bring a dish to share, please do.
The Lewisburg United Methodist Church is located on 214 East Washington Street (corner of Washington and Lee Streets) in downtown Lewisburg. Park in the parking lot between the church and the post office and then enter through those doors.
All are also welcome to worship with us and to take part in any of the programming that the church offers. Worship services are held on Sunday mornings at 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday School for all ages is held at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings. A nursery is provided during Sunday School and worship.
If you have any questions about the Thanksgiving Dinner or any other activities at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church, please call the church office at 304-645-2727 or visit the church’s website at www.lwbumc.com.
