Oak Grove United Methodist Church
will serve Thanksgiving Dinner with all the trimmings Saturday, Nov. 23 from 3 to 6 p.m. Cost $8 age 13-adult; $4 age 6-12; age 5 and under
free when accompanied by paying adult. Tara Endicott Viars will be selling Miche’ purses and jewelry. Jams, jellies, apple butter and crafts for sale. Church is located in Ballengee.

New River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
service Sunday, Nov. 24 will begin at 11 am. Visitors are welcome to attend. The Fellowship is located at 911 South Kanawha Street, Beckley. For further information call 304-252-4016.

Community Outreach Thanksgiving Dinner
Five Lewisburg churches will host a free Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner Sunday, Nov. 24 at St. James Episcopal Church, 218 Church Street, Lewisburg. Meals and fellowship will take place from 4 – 6:30 p.m. Anyone in the community that is in need, without family this year, or simply looking for fellowship are welcome to attend. Guests are also invited (but it’s not mandatory) to stay for a Community Holiday Service beginning at 7 p.m. This event is being sponsored by Shuck Memorial Baptist Church, St. James Episcopal Church, Lewisburg United Methodist Church, Old Stone Presbyterian Church and John Wesley Methodist Church. Woodland Church
will have their annual Hunters’ Supper on Monday, Nov. 25, starting at 6 p.m. Menu consists of soups, chili, sandwiches and desserts. You do not have to be a hunter to attend this evening of fun, fellowship and good food. Also, the church will have a community Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, Nov. 28 starting at 6 p.m. Both events are free to the public. Contact 304-497-2792 for questions.

Salem Presbyterian Church
invites you to a Christmas Advent worship service concluded with a Candlelight Service Sunday, Dec. 1 beginning at 6 p.m. with Rev. Cameron “Cam” Harkness. This is a service to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Light refreshments and fellowship will follow the service. Everyone is welcome to attend. Salem Presbyterian Church is located on Rt. 219 South in the community of Organ Cave.

Greenbrier Valley Aglow Community Lighthouse
holds monthly meetings the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Fairfield Inn in Lewisburg. Aglow International is an inter-denominational group of women and men whose vision is to carry the truth of the kingdom that restores people to a radiant place of relationship with God and one another.
