Lewisburg Police arrested a local man on narcotics charges after executing a search warrant at his residence. Sidney Demond Coles, 39, of Lewisburg was charged late Thursday evening, Aug. 29, after the search. Officers were assisting WV Probation and Parole officer J. Napier with a check on Coles when he discovered marijuana in the residence. A search warrant was obtained and officers discovered marijuana, cocaine, digital scales, money and other drug-related items in the home.
Coles is charged with one felony count of Possession of Marijuana and one felony count of Possession with the intent to deliver cocaine. He was arraigned before a Greenbrier County Magistrate and is in the Southern Regional Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
