Montgomery-Leah Anne Green, 85, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, following a short illness.

Born Mar. 26, 1933, in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Everett Theodore Green, Sr. and the late Leah E. Reed Green.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Thelma Virginia Green; and brother, Everett T. Green, Jr.

Ms. Green was a retired nurse, having retired from Montgomery General Hospital in Montgomery after 45 years of service.  She was a graduate of Montgomery High School and attended the Montgomery Church of Christ. Ms. Green will always be remembered for her dedication to her profession.

Survivors include three brothers, Gary W. Green and wife Roberta, of Hurricane, Larry M. Green and wife Brenda of East Bank and Perry S. Green and wife Pam of Hurricane; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 25, at the Lobban Funeral Home Chapel in Alderson, where the Rev. James Smith officiated. Burial was in the Wayside Cemetery in Wayside.

Friends called Monday at the funeral home before the service.
