Juanita Maxine Piercy

Asbury-Juanita Maxine Piercy, 69, passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.

She was born Dec. 31, 1944, in Crawley, the daughter of the late Max and Sylvia Simmons Hundley.

Mrs. Piercy was a member of Orient Hill Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired assembler for ABB.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was a daughter, Dreama Kay Piercy and sisters, Claire Howard and Rita Sheppard.

Surviving are: her children, Patricia Diane Hylton (Ronald) of Hunersville, NC, Brian Steward Piercy of Clintoinville and Joan Michelle Walkup of Rupert; grandchildren, Joseph Farren III, Josie Farren and Mattie Brown; and great-grandson, Jason Farren; siblings, Delbert Hundley of North Carolina, Loretta Bowser of Florida and Roger Hundley of Lexington, KY.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 23 at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg where Pastor Lee Dunbar officiated.

Interment followed at the Sunrise Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville.

The family received their family and friends before the services at the funeral home on Sunday.
