John Wayne Wyman

Lewisburg  – John Wayne Wyman, 76, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 at his home in Lewisburg.
Born Feb. 10, 1947 at Elkhart, Indiana, he was a son of the late Ward and Helen (Arnold) Wyman.
John worked for the Department of Justice, and later retired as Facility Manager for several Federal Prisons. He was Director of the Senior Center of Greenbrier County, was Manager of the West Virginia State Fair Flea Market, a member of the Greenbrier Chorale and was a United States Marine Corp Veteran.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a son, Brent Wyman and a brother, DeVon Wyman.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sue Wyman; sons, Bart A. (Joyce), John Wayne, Jr. (Susie), and stepson, Robert A. Dean (Randy); two beautiful granddaughters, Holly and Anna Wyman; and a brother, Roger Wyman.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Friday, June 30, at Clifton Presbyterian Church at Maxwelton with Rev. Ron Miller officiating.
Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan, 160 68th Street, SW, Suite 110, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49548.
