John Manchester, mayor of Lewisburg, served as a delegate at the National League of Cities’ (NLC) annual Congress of Cities and Exposition held Nov. 13-16 in Seattle, WA. Manchester engaged with more than 2,400 local leaders from across the U.S. through workshops, leadership training and engagement opportunities covering municipal finance, economic development, sustainability, community development and many other topics.
“As President of the West Virginia Municipal League this year, it was my pleasure to represent the League and Lewisburg at this event and to be able to meet city officials from around the country and compare notes on how they deal with their challenges,” Manchester said.
