Joe Walsh coming to Clay Center

This storied rocker has spent over 40 years creating hit after hit. With such a prolific career both as a solo artist and with groups like The Eagles, you will hear favorites like “Life in the Fast Lane” and “Rocky Mountain Way” when Joe Walsh brings his “Walsh Toor” to the Clay Center Tuesday, July 19, at 7:30 p.m.
Walsh will be joined by his Barnstorm bandmate Joe Vitale on drums as well as Chad Cromwell, Waddy Wachtel on guitar, Larry Young on bass, Jimmy Wallace on keyboards and DJ Clayton Janes. Singers Leslie Fuller, Lois Mahalia, Windy Wagner and Rickey Washington will provide background vocals.
Drawing from an extensive catalog of hits throughout his four-decade career, the set list will include “Rocky Mountain Way,” “Walk Away,” “Life’s Been Good To Me So Far,” “Funk 49,” “Life In The Fast Lane,” “In The City,” “Over and Over,” “Life of Illusion,” “Turn To Stone,” “Ordinary Average Guy,” “Analog Man” and more.
Tickets are $59, $69, $89 and $110 and may be purchased online at www.theclaycenter.org, in person at the Clay Center box office or by phone at 304-561-3570 beginning Friday, June 10 at 10 a.m. Clay Center Presents Spring 2016 subscribers and named seat holders may purchase tickets beginning May 19, at 2 p.m. Concert Connoisseur members may purchase tickets beginning Tuesday, June 7 at 10 a.m.
The Clay Center also recently announced another rock and roll addition to its series lineup, Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration, featuring Warren Haynes with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra. These tickets are now available at www.theclaycenter.org, in person at the Clay Center box office or by phone at 304-561-3570.
