Lewisburg – Joan L. Collins, 89, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
Joan was born Mar. 9, 1934 in Vago, WV.
Joan was a loving mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fairlea and was a retired waitress from The Greenbrier Hotel.
Joan was preceded in death by a granddaughter Caitlin Collins and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include sons, Billy Collins, Jr. and wife Diane of Lewisburg and Curtis Collins (former wife Vickey Collins) of North Carolina; grandchildren, J. Lee Collins, Brandon Collins and Dalton Collins; great-grandchildren, Makayla Collins, Oliver Collins and Oaken Collins; and her longtime companion, Mike Noe.
At her request, she donated her body to the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
