James McVay Lockhart, 68, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025, at his home. Born Oct. 29, 1956, in Beckley, he was the son of the late Dondal Lockhart. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Peggy Lockhart.
Survivors include his children, Jeannie Lockhart Hardiman (Richard Hardiman), James Lockhart, Jr. (Alexandria) and David White, sister, Brenda Clegg, grandchildren, Eliza Hardiman, Angel Lockhart, James D. Lockhart, Waylon Alexander Lockhart and his beloved dog, Fii-bee.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 26, at the Fairlea Baptist Church. Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net.
