In addition to his parents, Boyd was preceded in death by his son, Butler Boyd Brown, and his brother Clarence Wayne “C.W.” Brown.

Those left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife and caretaker of 46 years, Deborah Ames Brown and daughter, Sara Brown (Shane Johnson) of Frankford, WV; daughter-in-law, Letisha “Tish” Cole Brown and his cherished grandson and best little buddy, Griffin Butler Brown, of Morgantown, WV; sisters, Valerie Warren (Ralph “Chub”) of Lewisburg, WV, and Robin Hall (Darrell) of Pfafftown, NC; brothers Rodney Brown (Susan) of Deerfield Beach, FL, Terry Brown (Evelyn) and Brian Brown of Frankford, WV; sister-in-law Amy Brown Pence (Greg Pence) of Ocala, FL; along with numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 25, at the Frankford United Methodist Church with Pastor Pete Scott and Pastor Tyler Hylton officiating. Graveside service to follow at the Morningside Cemetery in Renick, WV.
