James “Jimmy” Madison Moody, 55, of Meadow Bridge passed on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, at his home. He was the son of Phillip Moody and Nadine Pugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Louise Harrah; and brothers, Benny Boggess and Herman Pugh
Those left to cherish his memory include a long-time companion and mother of their children, Dora Moody; daughters, Melissa (Travis) Gardner and Jamie (Michael) Harvey; son, Charlie Dunn; seven sisters, Lionel Goodnough of Syracuse, NY, Lorina Harmon of Clarksburg, PA, Nancy (Richard) Curry of Delbarton, Mary Campbell of Prince, Barbara (Donald) of Backus Mtn, Martha Moody of Peachtree, Liley (Alan) Bowels of Backus Mtn; 5 brothers, John (Patty) Pugh of Syracuse, NY, David Pugh of Backus Mtn, Gary (Jean) Moody of Backus Mtn, Phillip (Treasa) Moody of Beckley; grandchildren, Marissa Gardner, Addilyn Harvey, Addison Moody, Brayden Harvey, and Jayden Harvey; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and special friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 2 p.m. at Harrah Cemetery on Backus Mountain.
