Delores Lee Mitchell, 83, of Leslie, WV, passed on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, in Lewisburg. She was the daughter of Lorenzo and Blanche Henderson Williams.
She was a member of Faith Mission Apostolic Church in Leslie. Her dedication and love for her family were unmatched, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Curtis Lee Mitchell; sons Lawrence “Larry” Carter and Kevin Mitchell; sisters, Dorothy Marie Saunders and Mildred Jamison; and brother, Dennis Williams.
Those left to cherish her memory include: daughters, Annie Mitchell-Sewell and Beverly Painter; sons, Steven “Tony” (Joan) Mitchell, Vincent Mitchell, and Curtis (Lynn) Mitchell; sister Gloria McClung; brothers, Lorenzo Williams and Kenneth Williams; grandchildren, Monica Terry, Sabrina Mitchell, Steven Mitchell II, Chelsea Mitchell, Eric Mitchell, Ashley Mitchell, Curtis Mitchell II, Aaliyah Painter, and Jonathan Painter; four great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, family, and friends.

Services will be held at Wallace & Wallace, Rainelle on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Phylander J. Moon officiating. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon until time of service.
