James Lee “Jimmy” Griffey, born on July 26, 1955, in Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully at the age of 70 on June 28, 2026 at the Seneca Trail Healthcare Center in Lewisburg, WV.
His mother, Ruby Louise Griffey, survives him. He was a beloved brother to his sisters: Rita Antinoro, Debbie Griffey, and Mary Emrick.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, James Robert Griffey. Also remembered is Ken Antinoro, his brother-in-law.
