St. Albans-James Franklin “Frankie” White, 51, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, at Thomas Memorial Hospital in Charleston.

Frankie was born Apr. 30, 1967, in Fairlea, the son of Frances Marie Early Samuels of South Charleston and the late Calvin Leroy White, Sr.

He was a caregiver with Stevenson Group Home, a member of the Church of Deliverance of North Charleston and a U.S. Army veteran.

Frankie is survived by his mother, Frances Early Samuels of South Charleston; wife, Rosetta White; sons, Eric Shaver with the U.S. Army stationed in Pennsylvania, Desmond White at home and Tevin White at home; sister; Sarah Chavis and significant other Henry of St. Albans; brother, Calvin White, Jr. of Lewisburg; and a host of relatives.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 11, at 11 a.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Bobby Thomas officiating and Pastor Audrey Powell delivering the eulogy.

Interment will follow in the Lincoln Cemetery near Ronceverte.

The family will receive their family and friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service.
