Jack Swartout’s luck ran out on Friday, Apr. 1, 2022. He passed away at CAMC after complications from surgery. Sadly, no fooling!
Born Mar. 18, 1946 in Mount Vernon, Washington, he is the son of James & Rhoda Swartout and is the brother of Bob Swartout, all preceding him in death.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 24 years, Paula Greer; two sons, Jim and Jeremy of California; daughter-in-law, Lesley; and grandchildren, Justin and Kaitlyn.
Husband, father, grandfather, proud Marine, Vietnam Veteran, scotch drinker, smoker, toker, animal lover, and friend to many. He will be missed.
In lieu of everything else, tip your waiter well.
We will celebrate Jack’s life at a later date.
