Union student on fall 2013 Dean’s List at Coastal Carolina University

Ivy Hancock, a freshman Marine Science major of Union, was among more than 1,900 students from Coastal Carolina University who made the fall 2013 Dean’s List.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average. To qualify for the President’s List, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average. All students must be enrolled full time.

Coastal Carolina University is a dynamic, public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, just minutes from Myrtle Beach, SC. CCU offers baccalaureate programs in 66 major fields of study, including acclaimed programs in marine science, resort tourism and professional golf management. Seven graduate programs include an MBA as well as master’s degrees in education, writing and coastal marine and wetland studies.
