Indoor Winter Farmers Market to hold giveaway


The Lewisburg Indoor Winter Farmers Market is holding a Valentine’s Day Giveaway to thank our loyal customers and welcome new faces in 2018.

The winner will be randomly selected from all entries on Feb. 8, and there are two ways to enter. Winner need not be present to win. The winner will be notified the morning of Feb. 8, and may pick up their prize that day or contact us to make other arrangements.

The Giveaway Prize is a Splendid Gift Basket that will include a generous selection from the following items: locally grown organic vegetables, pasture raised poultry, game bird, grass fed beef, farm fresh pork and eggs, medicinal teas and salves, pies, handcrafted wearables and woolen-ware, local gemstone jewelry, Persian food, lamb, bagels and cinnamon rolls, jams and jellies, air plants, body care and chair massage! There are two ways to win!

Visit the Indoor Winter Farmer’s Market any Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and register in person.

The Winter Farmer’s Market offers many opportunities to find great local food, crafts, gifts, and baked goods every Saturday. You will also find interesting conversation and hot drinks, from good strong coffee to herbal teas, hot chocolate and chai. On Jan. 13, the Market Cafe will present several delicious ways to enjoy pasture raised turkey donated by S and S Farm in Pocahontas County, and cooked up into soups and sandwiches by Tim Peregoy of Azumuth Organics. Tim also serves a fabulous sausage and egg breakfast sandwich on homemade bread.

The Winter Farmer’s Market is located at the State Fair of West Virginia in the Gus Douglas Building (right next to indoor flea market) and open every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and is home to vendors offering the best locally grown meat, produce, crafts and baked goods.
