The indoors Lewisburg Farmer’s Market (LFM) continues on Saturday, Dec. 1, to offer all of the wonderful locally grown and produced items that our customers have come to love and expect. These items include chicken, pork, lamb, vegetables, fruits, free range eggs, herbs, baked goods, breads, garlic, jams, jellies, syrups, crafts, calendars, and much more!

The holidays are fast approaching, but you can find lots of great items for those “hard to buy for” folks on your lists at the LFM Indoor Winter Market.

This week farmer Tim’s menu for the LFM Cafe will include the following:

Soup special: butternut squash puree with chicken stock, ginger, sea salt and a locally made fresh roll.

Entree special: organic Italian spinach, herbs, and multi cheese bake with an organic side.

Sandwich special: spinach, caramelized onion, roasted garlic cheese spread in a wrap sautéed and served with an organic side.

Meat sandwich special: Dogwood Hill ground pork sloppy joe on a fresh locally made roll with an organic side.

Breakfast special: two farm fresh local eggs with local sausage on a fresh made roll.

Other offerings: two egg breakfast sandwich; local egg salad with local greens sandwich;  local hummus with local greens sandwich.

Organic sides include potato salad, hummus, egg salad, and cole slaw. Organic dark roast coffee and organic tea made of grated turmeric, ginger, and lemon grass shoots will be available.

“We believe in real neighborly local food at a fair price that leaves no one marginalized. Thanks to everyone for supporting the winter indoor farmers market,” said farmer Tim.

LFM accepts SNAP, EBT and credit cards.  See the market manager for more information. Our LFM vendors appreciate our community and customers. We look forward to seeing you at our indoor location at the WV State Fairgrounds. Come out and support your local farmer and bring your appetite, too!
