The Greenbrier Valley Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution hereby invite WWII veterans residing in Greenbrier, Fayette, Summers, Pocahontas or Monroe counties to a “Breakfast at Shoney’s.”
The breakfast will be at the Shoney’s restaurant in Lewisburg beginning at 9 a.m. on Dec. 6, and will be without cost for all WWII veterans who are in attendance and reside in the above named counties.
This show of appreciation is intended as a way for veterans of the war fought for America’s Independence to show, through their descendants, appreciation for the veterans of WWII who fought to keep America free. And, at the same time, for all in attendance an opportunity to Remember Pearl Harbor.
Veterans will be invited to talk about their war-time experiences.
