The South East Regional Tractor Driving event was hosted by Greenbrier East High School Thursday, Nov. 13. On this very cold and blustery day six students from the East chapter competed. The contest is broken down into two events; the lawn tractor contest which is a precision course and the large tractor course which involves an obstacle course and the backing of both a 2 wheel and 4 wheel wagons. Contestants from the East chapter in the lawn tractor event were Matthew Powell, Colton Phillips, Austyn Byers, Brandon Loudermilk, Trace Butcher, and J.T. McCutcheon.

We would like to once again thank Harvest Equipment and Boone Tractor, without their support and involvement this event would not have been possible. Because they allowed us to borrow their equipment students from the following schools were allowed the opportunity to compete: Pocahontas County, Summers County, Shady Springs, Greenbrier West, and Liberty High School.
