Members of the Lewisburg House and Garden Club were entranced with the discovery of a historic garden hidden from public view on a hillside at Clifton Forge, VA, at the residence of Donald Roberts, who restored the garden the past few years to its former glory. Following the tour of the spacious gardens, some members chatted with Roberts: Peggy Brown (left), Mary Lindquist, Mary Jo Thompson, Polley Cunningham and Roberts, owner of Ridgley Historic Gardens in Clifton Forge, VA, on Wednesday, June 24, completing their field trip of the area.
