‘Healthy Holiday Happening’ set Dec. 7 at DSLCC Rockbridge Center

massage students holiday happenings_5 (2)The third annual “Healthy Holiday Happening,” which will feature a relaxing massage by the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College Massage Therapy students, accompanied by light refreshments prepared by the DSLCC Culinary Arts students, will be hosted at the DSLCC Rockbridge Regional Center on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Massage Therapy students will be supervised by Program Head Gloria Lawrence.
Information about the employment opportunities at The Omni Homestead in Hot Springs, a partner with DSLCC with both the Massage Therapy and Culinary Arts programs, will be posted. There will be information available about career pathways in the areas of culinary arts and massage therapy.
For planning purposes, only those with appointments will be able to participate, and the number of appointments is limited. The cost is $25 per person; proceeds will go to the programs involved. Call the DSLCC Rockbridge Center, located at 35 Vista Links, Drive, Buena Vista at 540-261-1211 for more information.
