Grace United Methodist Church in Fort Spring will be holding its annual Vacation Bible School. Children will be able to play games, learn about the Bible, sing songs, and eat fun meals and snacks with the theme of “Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus.”
It’s a five-day program and the kids will go from station to station. They’ll explore the Bible through interacting stories, and experience imagination station, where they do science gizmos.
The VBS is being held at the brick church in the turn in Fort Spring on Sunday, June 24 through Thursday, June 28 from 6 to 8:45 p.m each night.
Participants will sing along to music before the activities begin. Then, they visit different stations that include games. They learn a different verse each day along with an animal character to help explain the verse.
VBS teaches the kids to learn to look toward Christ as the source of their hope and their strength. For more information call the VBS director, Peggy Patterson at 304-647-4752.
