The Greenbrier Valley Shriners’ Street Day in Lewisburg gives local residents an opportunity to support children and families receiving specialized care through the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
On Saturday, Sept. 26, Shriners, along with student volunteers from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, will be accepting donations at the major intersections of Lewisburg. Funds raised help support the Shriners’ ongoing mission of providing hope and healing to children in need.
The Shriners Children’s Hospital is a nonprofit pediatric healthcare system that provides specialized care for children with conditions including orthopedic problems, burns, craniofacial conditions and spinal cord injuries. The organization provides care regardless of a family’s ability to pay or insurance status, while also offering family-centered support and resources.
The Greenbrier Valley Shriners thank the Lewisburg community for its generosity and continued support of their efforts to help children and families.
