The event was a great way to support an important cause. The CYAC would like to thank Greenbrier Valley Fitness, who donated 100 percent of the proceeds, as well as the donors and participants, for their efforts to end child abuse and neglect in Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas Counties.\r\nThe CYAC is a private, nonprofit organization that works to organize a community-wide response to child abuse and neglect. This response empowers youth, families, and professionals to break the cycle of maltreatment. The CYAC uses a multidisciplinary team approach in the investigation, treatment, and prevention of child abuse. The CYAC is a child-focused program that provides support and advocacy services to local kids and their families. Last year, the CYAC served close to 300 children.\r\nFor more information about the CYAC, visit www.childandyouthadvocacy.org or like \u201cChild and Youth Advocacy Center\u201d on Facebook.
