On Tuesday, Oct. 27, nine seniors from the Greenbrier East FFA Chapter traveled to Louisville, KY for the National FFA Convention. To be chosen to go on this trip the students had to show exemplary leadership skills throughout their high school career. The students participated in several educational activities including visiting Moorhead State College, participated in the food literacy project, and the Convention itself was very educational with its sessions and college booths. Participants attended a rodeo, a Kip Moore and Clare Dunn concert, and Go-Kart racing. Participants also had the opportunity to expand their cultural knowledge by experiencing new foods from several different cultures. National FFA Convention 2015 was definitely a life changing experience.
