The Greenbrier County Democratic Women’s Club recently held their May and June meetings. Special guest speakers for the May meeting were Candie Benedict and Jenny Castle with CASA. Kenosha Davenport, executive director of the Family Refuge Center, presented the club members with information regarding the FRC at the June meeting. The club members also discussed volunteer opportunities and their current membership drive.
The Greenbrier County Democratic Women’s Club holds monthly meetings on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Anyone interested in joining the club is encouraged to attend a meeting. The July meeting will be held on July 28 at 5:30 p.m. at the Dutch Haus Restaurant at the airport.
