The Greenbrier Autism Community (GAC) will host a free Community Resource Fair for Autism, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Sept. 28, at the Roland P. Sharp Alumni Center on the campus of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM).
The resource fair will be free and is geared toward individuals on the autism spectrum, their families, friends and providers. The fair will offer information about healthcare, law enforcement, geo trackers, equine therapy and more. The event will also include sensory activities and massage therapy.
GAC Board Member Amy Boone is excited to help educate the community with this event. “We are looking forward to this wonderful fair full of area resources and networking opportunities. We will also offer some presentations and activities for the kids, too,” Boone said.
