The 2018 Greenbrier Valley Women-in-Agriculture Conference will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20, at the WV State Fair Grounds Blue Ribbon Center (Poultry Building) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will celebrate women in agriculture with a fun and informative day featuring an exciting lineup of topics including the beef industry, dairy industry, marketing and sales, pasture health and score, vaccines and the sheep industry. There will also be several local vendors with information on agricultural resources and handmade products available for sale. Morning refreshments and lunch will be served.

There is no charge to attend but we must ask that reservations be made in advance by calling your county’s WVU Extension office, USDA FSA/NRCS office at 304-645-6172, or the Greenbrier Valley Conservation District office at 304-645-6173. You can also email your reservation to gvcd@wvca.us.  Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. and tickets will be entered into a drawing for door prizes at the end of the day.  RSVP deadline is Oct. 1.
