Just announced as a special event of the Clay Center Presents spring performance season, southern rock jam band Gov’t Mule will take the Clay Center stage Saturday, Feb. 22 at 8 p.m.

What started as a side project for guitarist Warren Haynes and the late Allen Woody of the Allman Brothers Band, the Mule has developed a cult following and become a staple act at music festivals such as Bonnaroo, Wakarusa, Mountain Jam and New Orleans Jazz Fest. Hear elements of blues, funk and hard rock mixed into a southern sound as this impressive group of extraordinary musicians plays a variety of original songs from the past two decades and music from its latest album.
