Greenbrier Episcopal School (GES), will host a preview of their fundraising auction during the April, First Friday after Five at the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center in Lewisburg.

“We are very excited to unveil some of the wonderful items that will be up for auction and participate in this fun local event,” Headmaster Gretchen Graves said.

As part of the event, GES will serve refreshments and conduct a fishbowl raffle that will highlight different parts of the upcoming auction, scheduled for Saturday, Apr. 18, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at The Hub in downtown Lewisburg.

“We are going to have three raffle prizes, a cake from Greenbrier Valley Baking Company, a gift certificate to the new Hill and Holler, and a baker’s dozen wine basket,” Graves announced. All of the raffle items have been donated by area businesses.

“So many area businesses are helping us to make this event a huge success,” she said. “This is their way of supporting us, and I am grateful.”

Everyone is invited to stop in at the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center on Friday, Apr. 3 from 5 until 9 p.m., to meet with representatives of GES and preview some of the items that have been donated for the upcoming event.
