Ronceverte-George H. Bostic, 79, passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2019, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.

Born June 16, 1939, in Union, he was a son of the late William Hugh and Winifred Thelma Porterfield Bostic.

George was a milk delivery man for Ripco and retired from Valley Rich Dairies; he also was a bread delivery man for Betsy Ross Bread Company.

He never met a stranger. George loved spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids. He enjoyed watching westerns and sports and actually got to watch the WVU basketball team win their ball game against Kansas this past Saturday.

Preceding him in death other than his parents, were his brothers, Pete Bostic, Paul Bostic and Ronnie Bostic.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Robbie Morgan Bostic; his children, George Dean Bostic of Greenville, SC, Jeanne Michelle Clemons of Lewisburg and James Edward Bostic and wife Kelli of Ronceverte; grandchildren, Cameron and Courtney Bostic, Garrett, Collin, Carrie and Graham Clemons; brothers, Jack Bostic of St. Albans and Robert Bostic and wife Judy of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his companion dog, Muffy.

It was George’s request that he be cremated.

The family welcomed their family and friends on Wednesday evening, Jan. 23, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte.

In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Greenbrier County Humane Society, 151 Holliday Lane, P.O. Box 926, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
