Fundraising events slated at Alderson Community Center for the Arts & Humanities

The Alderson Quilt and Craft Club will have a free showing of quilts on Sunday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Alderson Community Center Gym in Alderson.

The Community Center’s annual spring Baked Steak Dinner will be held Sunday, May 31, in the kitchen/home ec area from 11:30 .am. to 2 p.m. Along with baked steak, the menu will include mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, cranberry salad, hot homemade rolls, cake or cobbler, and iced tea or coffee. The cost of the dinner is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10. Take out is available. For home delivery, please call 304-661-0290 by May 30.

All proceeds go toward the improvement of the Alderson Community Center, so come out and enjoy viewing beautiful handmade quilts and a delicious dinner while helping to improve our community.
