Fronie Mae Brown

Renick-Fronie Mae Brown, 72, passed away, Sunday, Mar. 31, 2019, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Ronceverte.

Born Mar. 17, 1947, in Amherst County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Finley Dee Bowling and Ruth Fitzgerald Bowling.

Mrs. Brown was a member of the Renick Baptist Church. She was retired from The Pentagon as the Director of Office Facilities.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Austin Mayberry Brown.

Survivors include son, Austin Brown (Roberta) of Locust Grove, VA; daughters, Ruth Kanasky (Joel) of Bonaire, Caribbean, Shannon Brown of Renick, Melissia Bennett of Rainelle, and Tabbithia Weaver (Jonathan) of Culpepper, VA; brother, William Bowling (Brenda) of Dumfries, VA; sister, Lecy Duff (Nelson) of Alexandria, VA; grandchildren, Kristin, Kimberly, Karley, Billy, Jacquelin, Jon, David, Logan, Lyssa Dee, Caitlyn and Abigail; great-grandchildren, Kaeleigh, Kynlee, Jojo, Chito, Allison and Emberlynn; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Apr. 6, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, with Pastor Steve Barnette officiating.  Burial will follow in the Morningside Cemetery, Renick.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Apr. 5, at the funeral home.
