Nine French high school students and two teachers from the Lycée du Chateau in Monistrol-sur-Loire spent a week at Greenbrier East High School in October. This is the third cultural and language exchange to GEHS from this school in central France. Students lived with and attended classes with GEHS students. While here, the French students got lost in Bryneside Farm’s Corn Maze, got scared at the Haunted Barn, met Mayor Manchester at the Visitor’s Center, played games at the Hub, toured The Greenbrier Hotel and Swift Level Farm and had a picnic prepared by Cakes and Cones on the lawn in front of Carnegie Hall. What fun! GEHS students are looking forward to return the visit to the French high school in Spring 2016. The GEHS French Department is under the guidance of Teacher Liz Daigle.
